Soltec inaugurates five solar fields in the south east of Spain. News bulletin from ENERGETICA XXI 12/12/2008. Soltec inaugurates five solar fields in the south east of Spain. News bulletin from ENERGETICA XXI
Soltec Energía has commissioned five solar fields in the south east of Spain. The facilities will avoid emissions of 20,000 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere and will generate clean energy for 7,000 homes.

Soltec’s 10K series trackers are used in the facilities of Corvera, El Carche, El Cañarico, Kaufman and La Alcayna.
We are assured by the company that with each passing day it is approaching a technology that will mitigate the reduction in premiums from 44 cents per kWh to 32 cents per kWh so that this fall will hardly affect investors. This inauguration also represents the opening of a space with the potential of creating social,...
It makes no sense to restrict quotas. Opinion published in the Murcia daily, La VERDAD 11/12/2008. It makes no sense to restrict quotas. Opinion published in the Murcia daily, La VERDAD
Photovoltaic solar energy is still at an early stage of development and amid increasing advocacy the world over of clean energies to substitute polluting sources of energy, the solar alternative has acquired such calibre that nothing forebodes a fall in output in Spain, but rather quite the reverse. Solar energy is one of the most – if not the most – accessible investment alternatives extending throughout Europe, which is sound, profitable and sustainable for many years to come. As traditional credit facility lines have ground to an abrupt halt, now is the precise moment for injecting large amounts of capital into the harnessing of solar energy. Public awareness, on one hand,...
Tracking the sun to raise yield. FV Fotovoltaici 10/12/2008. Tracking the sun to raise yield. FV Fotovoltaici
In recent years, solar tracking techniques have been notably perfected. The reliability of solar arrays, the advantages of increased electrical output and the availability of systems of different dimensions have made of this technology a valid alternative as compared to conventional fixed PV module facilities. But when is solar tracking really advantageous?
Giuseppe Stabile

The primary objectives of the PV industry have always been to bring down costs of power generating systems and to raise yield. Obviously, these objectives are also shared by potential clients and all those who sell solar technology, which is a real alternative as compared to...

The plant in La Alcayna accounts for an increase in growth in the solar energy sector of 900% for the year.

Salvador Marín, the Counsellor for Universities, Enterprise and Investigation, opened the solar energy plant in La Alcayna yesterday, which was promoted by the company Soltec. He stated that photovoltaic energy production had increased by 900 per cent in the region of Murcia in the past year. The region has gone from having a total of 30.5 megawatts (MW) to 304.07 of power installed and connected to the grid. This means to say that the solar PV (photovoltaic) energy installations in the region generate enough power to fulfill the energy...
