Soltec Energía has commissioned five solar fields in the south east of Spain. The facilities will avoid emissions of 20,000 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere and will generate clean energy for 7,000 homes.
Soltec’s 10K series trackers are used in the facilities of Corvera, El Carche, El Cañarico, Kaufman and La Alcayna.

The plant in La Alcayna accounts for an increase in growth in the solar energy sector of 900% for the year.
Salvador Marín, the Counsellor for Universities, Enterprise and Investigation, opened the solar energy plant in La Alcayna yesterday, which was promoted by the company Soltec. He stated that photovoltaic energy production had increased by 900 per cent in the region of Murcia in the past year. The region has gone from having a total of 30.5 megawatts (MW) to 304.07 of power installed and connected to the grid. The solar panel installation in La Acayna, situated in Molina de Segura was carried out by the company Soltec Renewable Energies and inaugurated on December the 2nd in La Alcayna, which is located near the roundabout at the entrance to the estate of ‘La Alcayna’ on the main A5, Molina to Fortuna road.
